What should I Expect During Pregnancy Confirmation & Early Pregnancy Care

Some women never know precisely when their periods will start each month, while other women can pinpoint the exact day their cycle begins. On average, however, your menstrual periods should occur every 21-35 days and lasts for seven days or less.

At each pregnancy confirmation & early pregnancy visit, Triangle Women’s Center checks your weight and blood pressure. Dr. Nadendla thoroughly evaluates your overall health and monitors your baby’s growth and heart rate.

At specific times during your pregnancy, you have routine tests to check for health problems that can affect you and your baby, such as:

  • Anemia
  • Hepatitis B
  • Gestational diabetes
  • Bladder and kidney infections
  • Rubella and chickenpox
  • Chlamydia and other sexually transmitted infections
